Survey: Most American Christians Say Great Commission “Can’t Be Done”

GreatCommission

DALLAS, TX – Results of a recent survey in which American Christians were asked what they thought of The Great Commission confirm that the vast majority of self-identified followers of Jesus in America wholeheartedly believe that the crystal clear mission given to the church by Jesus simply “cannot be done in the real world”.

87% agreed with the proposition that successful completion of the Great Commission is “impossible here on planet earth”, while 12% were slightly more optimistic in labeling it as “almost certainly impossible here on planet earth”.

0.8% of respondents selected “all of the above”, while 0.2% embraced the notion that Jesus actually intends for the Great Commission that He gave His Church to succeed and will see it through to completion…just probably long after America’s version of Christianity is dead and gone.
