SEATTLE, WA – The NFL’s new “Color Rush” uniforms for the Seattle Seahawks may have become the object of scorn, ridicule, and laughter from most American football fans, but they’ve not been a total bust. They’re apparently a huge hit with both the LGBTQ community and Skittles fans, two groups that the NFL has been targeting aggressively in recent years.
“We’re very pleased to see such a positive response from the LGBTQ community and Skittles fans,” noted Liberace Fontana, the NFL’s Director of Marketing to LGBTQ And Skittles-obsessed Communities. “While more traditional heterosexual fans seem to be struggling to accept the neon-accented awesomeness of the progressive new direction we’ve charted for professional football, we’re sure they’ll come along eventually.”
